چکیده
This paper addresses a distributed real-time optimal power flow (RTOPF) strategy for DC microgrids. In this paper, we focus on the scenarios where local information sharing is conducted in stochastic communication networks subject to random failures. Most existing (OPF) algorithms microgrid require all controllers work concert with fixed network topology maintain zero gap between estimated global constraint violations. Thus, high reliability of required ensure their convergence. To address issue, proposed RTOPF tolerates failures and can seek optimum constant step size considering operation limitations microgrid. These aspects make suitable optimization, particularly when not reliable. addition, does from non-dispatchable devices, thereby reducing number sensors system. The convergence equilibrium points are theoretically proven. Finally, simulations 30-bus performed validate effectiveness designs.

Distributed Approach for DC Optimal Power Flow Calculations
The trend in the electric power system is to move towards increased amounts of distributed resources which suggests a transition from the current highly centralized to a more distributed control structure. In this paper, we propose a method which enables a fully distributed solution of the DC Optimal Power Flow problem (DC-OPF), i.e. the generation settings which minimize cost while supplying t...
متن کاملOptimal Scheduling of CHP-based Microgrid Under Real-Time Demand Response Program
Microgrid (MG) is considered as a feasible solution to integrate the distributed energy sources. In this paper, optimal scheduling of a grid-connected MG is investigated considering different power sources as combined heat and power (CHP) units, only power and heat generating units, and battery storage systems. Two different feasible operating regions are considered for the CHP units. In additi...

Microgrids can deploy traditional and/or renewable power sources to support remote sites. Utilizing renewable power sources requires more complicated control strategies to achieve acceptable power quality and maintain grid stability. In this research, we assume that the grid stability problem is already solved. As a next step, we focus on how the power can be dispatched from multiple power sour...

This paper develops an effective control framework for DC voltage control and power-sharing of multi-terminal DC (MTDC) grids based on an optimal power flow (OPF) procedure and the voltage-droop control. In the proposed approach, an OPF algorithm is executed at the secondary level to find optimal reference of DC voltages and active powers of all voltage-regulating converters. Then, the voltage ...
متن کاملDistributed Optimal Power Flow Algorithm for Balanced Radial Distribution Networks
The optimal power flow (OPF) problem is fundamental in power system operations and planning. Large-scale renewable penetration in distribution networks calls for real-time feedback control, and hence the need for fast and distributed solutions for OPF. This is difficult because OPF is nonconvex and Kirchhoff’s laws are global. In this paper we propose a solution for balanced radial distribution...
